Our story
Established in 2017 by Imogen Rolfe, House of Rolfe began as a drawing project studying the lifecycle of flowers.
While studying at the University of Arts London, Imogen became intrigued by plant life and how nature and humans evolve in different environments.
Following studies Imogen set out to create textile designs to showcase the beauties and complexities within nature and at the same time, travelled to Uzbekistan to become familiar with the practice of making silk.
Like many before her, Imogen was drawn to silk and felt the need to combine the most luxurious threads with her handmade designs to create a heightened sensory and visual experience through textiles.
Today House of Rolfe is known for its exquisite handmade silk scarves, botanical art and the finest lifestyle accessories, made in all natural fibres including cotton, linen and wool.
